Research & Innovation

Our Research & Innovation Program positions students as pioneers at the mind-machine frontier. Participants design and conduct original studies—like quantifying how 10 days of meditation improves brain-computer interface (BCI) accuracy—using open-source EEG kits and machine learning tools. They build tangible innovations: low-cost BCI headsets for schools, AI chatbots that adapt to users’ stress levels, or algorithms that predict focus states from brainwave patterns.

Guided by neuroscientists and AI ethicists, young researchers explore critical questions about neuro-privacy and humane technology, publishing findings in our peer-reviewed Youth Neurotech Journal. This is STEM+: transforming curiosity into real-world impact, where 70% of alumni pursue STEM degrees and teams have patented 3 BCI tools. We don’t just teach science; we let students redefine it.
